Foot Base is aimed at capturing the full complex nature of a football game for both fans and players to understand what is really going on. With heads up display, players will never loose track of the play clock or down and distance. With advanced info graphics and visual systems in the helmet, the players could even see the first down line. Location services such as GPS and Bluetooth and sensors such as gyroscopes, accelerometers and compasses could be used to exactly pin point a runner’s position and location of ball much more quickly than just instant replay alone. With new added perspectives we can now have a first hand look at the pocket conditions and experience on each play improving everyone’s understanding and appreciation for the game of football. A camera on the referee for instance gives the fans access to side of the game they have never seen before. It will transform the fan experience for now they wont have to guess what the referee saw or miss the communication between the referee and the players or coaches. Fans expect more access in today's world and adding a first person perspective of players on the field is the next step in improving the entertainment aspect of sports.
